Venkat is an HCPC registered Physiotherapist with more than 15 years of experience working in leading London NHS Trusts. In addition to his Physiotherapy qualification, he also holds a Postgraduate diploma in yoga and a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. He is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. He spent his first five years in private practice, treating a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from injuries in the sporting elite to spinal disorders in the non-sporting population.
He has a keen interest in Neurological conditions (Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, MS, ME, Cerebral Palsy) and Musculoskeletal conditions (Back pain, neck pain, lower limb biomechanics) and the effect that abnormal mechanics has on the interplay between the joints of the lower limb, namely the hip, knee and ankle.
He has extensive experience and post-graduate training in this specialist area and over the past three years has led the development of gait re-education, posture, balance problems and vestibular rehabilitation.
